Goals For Ally Training:
Providers will have accurate and updated definitions about (LGBTQ+) communities.
Give context about identities in our community and why respect towards those identities is important. This includes pronouns and terminology.
Provide a safe and non-judgmental space for providers/ employees to learn and create dialogue about bettering services for LGBTQ+ people.
Discuss creating an affirming culture within your organization for clientele and employees. This includes imagery, paperwork and policies.
