GJNV is proud to support the efforts of an amazing group of local teachers and community members who have come together to create a new charter school called “The Village” that will be a safe school for sex/gender diverse students! GJNV will be holding 2 town halls for parents and students on December 7th and December 14th from 3:00-4:00pm
Come have your voice heard! We are holding
Town Hall meetings to discuss a new school named, The Village. The school will be a safe space for LGBTQ+ and all other marginalized students so they can be active participants in their education without limits. Our mission is to remove barriers in educating all students so they can be successful adults, and life-long learners in a safe, judgement-free environment. Our goal will be to provide mental health and wrap-around services to our population. We will be creating opportunities to build community relationships through service and internships with local business partners.

At this time we are looking for input from you. Come tell us what you need and want from your school. We are also taking this time to decide what grade levels to offer in our new school. Come out and let us know what you think. Your opinions matter!
